Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 pkg. flour tortillas
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion; drain and add cumin and garlic powder.
  2. In a separate 1-quart pan, combine Velveeta cheese, evaporated milk, cream of mushroom soup, and chopped green chilies, and cook on medium heat until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour about 1 cup of cheese sauce into a 12 x 8-inch glass baking dish.
  4. Place about 3 tablespoons of meat in each tortilla and roll up.
  5. Place the rolled tortillas seam side down in the dish.
  6. Pour the remaining cheese sauce over the rolled tortillas.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven until the sauce is bubbling. Sprinkle the top with shredded Cheddar cheese before serving.
