Beef-Broccoli-Potato Bake

- Brown the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked.
- Place the scalloped potatoes in a 2 1/2-quart pan with boiling water.
- Spread the cooked ground beef over the prepared potatoes.
- Break apart the frozen broccoli and layer it over the beef.
- Sprinkle the powdered mixture from the scalloped potatoes over the broccoli.
- Add butter to 1 cup of boiling water and stir until melted.
- Mix in the sour cream into the buttered water and pour this mixture over the casserole.
- Pour the remaining boiling water over the casserole.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 50 to 60 minutes until hot and bubbly.
