- Brown ground beef and minced onion in a skillet with a small amount of fat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Break up the cooked beef with a fork.
- Combine prepared biscuit mix and milk in a bowl.
- Stir to blend until smooth.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Drain excess fat from the meat mixture.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Roll up the dough with the filling in jelly roll fashion.
- Moisten the edges of the dough and seal securely.
- Brush the top of the rolled dough with melted butter.
- Bake at 450°F (232°C) for 10 minutes until golden.
- Mix mushroom soup with 1/3 can of milk and peas.
- Heat the soup mixture thoroughly.
- Pour the sauce over the sliced beef roll and serve.
