Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef brisket
  • 1 tsp. liquid hickory flavored smoke
  • 1/4 to 1/3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Accent (monosodium glutamate)
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Trim off excess fat from the beef brisket.
  2. Cut the meat into strips approximately 1/4 inch thick and 2 inches wide, preferably when partially frozen for easier cutting.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together to prepare the marinade.
  4. Marinate the meat strips in the sauce overnight, using a flat pan if available.
  5. Cover with clear wrap and refrigerate.
