Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using a mix of different ground meats such as lamb or turkey. You can substitute bourbon with apple cider for a milder taste. If you prefer a gluten-free option, use gluten-free bread crumbs. To enhance the dish, try adding chopped mushrooms to the sautéed onion and garlic mixture for extra moisture and flavor.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this Gourmet Meat Loaf with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and steamed green beans for a classic meal. A drizzle of gravy or a side of Cheese Dip Or Sandwich Spread can elevate the dish even further. For a heartier option, consider pairing it with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover meat loaf can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place slices in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes until warmed through, or microwave for quick reheating. Ensure to cover it to prevent drying out.
