Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 (16 oz) can green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain off excess liquid.
  2. Combine the green beans (including liquid) and cream of mushroom soup in a bowl.
  3. Thinly slice the potatoes and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a large casserole dish.
  5. Add half of the cooked beef over the potatoes.
  6. Pour half of the green bean and mushroom soup mixture over the beef.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining potatoes, beef, and green bean mixture.
  8. Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1.5 hours until potatoes are tender and hot throughout.
