Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain off excess liquid.
- Combine the green beans (including liquid) and cream of mushroom soup in a bowl.
- Thinly slice the potatoes and sprinkle with salt.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a large casserole dish.
- Add half of the cooked beef over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the green bean and mushroom soup mixture over the beef.
- Repeat the layers with remaining potatoes, beef, and green bean mixture.
- Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1.5 hours until potatoes are tender and hot throughout.
