Ingredients

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in salad oil until translucent.
  2. Combine all ingredients including sautéed onion, ground beef, salt, sage, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, and milk; mix well.
  3. Pack the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
