Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 small stalk celery with leaves
  • 1 c. meat broth
  • a sprinkle of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2/3 c. cut-up or canned cooked beef or pork

Instructions

  1. Cut up the onion, carrot, potato, and celery.
  2. Put the broth in a pan and heat to boiling.
  3. Add the chopped vegetables and a sprinkle of salt to the broth.
  4. Cover and boil gently for about 20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
