A hearty baked casserole combining seasoned ground beef, crispy Tater Tots, savory mushroom soup, and melted Cheddar, perfect for family dinners and comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 16 oz. frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 can undiluted golden mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • garlic salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Make an even layer of uncooked ground beef in the bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the beef with garlic salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover the beef with onion slices.
  5. Add a layer of frozen Tater Tots, completely covering the beef and onions.
  6. Pour the undiluted golden mushroom soup evenly over the mixture.
  7. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
