Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large jar chipped beef, cut into small pieces
  • 1 round loaf sourdough bread
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 green onions, diced

Instructions

  1. Cut off the top of the round loaf of sourdough bread.
  2. Pull out the inside of the bread with a fork, creating a hollow cavity for the dip.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, grated Cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, chipped beef, sour cream, and diced green onions until well combined.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed-out loaf.
  5. Replace the top of the loaf, wrap it in foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 1.5 hours.
  6. While baking, tear small pieces of bread from the removed bread interior and place them on a cookie sheet.
  7. Broil the bread pieces just until lightly toasted and hardened.
  8. Remove the loaf from the oven, remove the foil, and serve the dip by dipping bread pieces into the cheese mixture.
