Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. grated American cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt or powder
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, chopped onion, American cheese, Parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon salt, garlic salt or powder, and egg white until well combined.
  2. Prepare a batter by combining all-purpose flour, water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and paprika to form a smooth mixture.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into small, flat patties or logs.
  4. Dip each beef portion into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Deep fry or pan-fry the coated beef wraps until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
