Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef round steak, cubed
  • 7 oz. can mushrooms, drained
  • 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 new potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Layer beef cubes and drained mushrooms in a large baking dish. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the mushrooms.
  2. Spoon cream of mushroom soup on top. Arrange carrots and peeled, diced new potatoes around the edge of the baking dish.
  3. Cover tightly and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 3 hours.
