- STEP ONE On wax paper put 2.5 C flour, bp and salt.
- In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar until light yellow and fluffy.
- STEP TWO Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then vanilla and lemon rind.
- Stir in the flour mixture with a wooden spoon.
- Divide into three pieces and wrap each in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- STEP THREE Preheat oven to 350, butter three cookie sheets, roll out with cutters and decorate.
- Bake 8-10 minutes until sides start turning brown....(Im pretty sure I only cooked them for 8 minutes and they really werent brown at all.
- You can make these a bit thicker as well.)
