Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. quick cooking oats

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and sugars.
  2. Beat in eggs.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Sift together flour, soda, and spices.
  5. Add to creamed mixture and stir in oats.
  6. Cover dough and let set at room temperature for 2 hours.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes.
