- Cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Blend in the dry ingredients with the creamed mixture.
- Divide the batter into two portions.
- In one portion, stir in 1 ounce of unsweetened chocolate and walnuts.
- In the other portion, fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread one-third of the chocolate batter in a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Arrange graham crackers on top of the chocolate batter.
- Spread the white batter (with chocolate chips) over the graham crackers.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cut into bars and serve.
