- Brown the hamburger meat and drain excess fat.
- Add spices (celery seed, red pepper, black pepper) to the meat and mix well.
- Add chopped cabbage and onion to the meat mixture and cook for 15 minutes, adding water if necessary.
- Roll thawed rolls on a floured board to a 6-inch square.
- Place a spoonful of cheese and 1/2 cup of the hamburger mixture on each roll.
- Gather up three sides of the roll, then the remaining side, and pinch together to seal.
- Lay the pinched side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
