Blue Cheese Pears

A visually stunning and flavorful cheese pear crafted with blue cheese, walnuts, and aromatic spices, perfect for elegant appetizer platters or sophisticated gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. crumbled Blue cheese
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • mint leaves
  • paprika
  • assorted crackers and fruit

Instructions

  1. Let cheeses come to a room temperature.
  2. Combine softened cheeses, walnuts, and garlic in a large mixer bowl.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer until mixture is smooth.
  4. If necessary, add a few teaspoons of milk to the mixture.
  5. Form the cheese mixture into a pear shape and place a cinnamon stick in the top as a stem.
  6. Add mint leaves at the stem of the pear.
  7. Pat paprika on the sides of the pear to create a shadow effect.
  8. Cover and chill in the refrigerator.
  9. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve with assorted crackers and fruit.
