Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 to 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • butter, if desired

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles cornmeal.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Cover the crust with fresh blueberries.
  4. Combine 1 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the blueberries.
  5. Dot with butter, if desired.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  8. Combine sour cream and egg yolks until well blended.
  9. Spread the sour cream mixture over the blueberries.
  10. Set oven to 350°F and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
