Instructions
- Boil molasses over heat for 1 minute.
- Remove from stove and in the same pan add baking soda, margarine or shortening, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, beaten eggs, and vinegar.
- Stir in flour and mix well.
- Roll the dough into balls, place on a greased cookie sheet, and press down with a fork.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
