A hearty and flavorful slow-cooked chuck roast with vegetables, seasoned with onion soup and onion powder, perfect for comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chuck roast
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 box frozen baby carrots
  • onion powder
  • 1/2 cup onion soup
  • 1 box frozen zucchini

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle onion powder over the roast.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan with a lid.
  3. Brown the roast in the oil.
  4. Add onion soup to the pan.
  5. Place the pan in a preheated 325°F oven with the lid on.
  6. After 40 minutes, add the frozen baby carrots and zucchini to the pan.
  7. Replace the lid and return to the oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Allow an extra 10 minutes for the vegetables to cook through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
