Ingredients

  • 1 bunch carrots, scraped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 oz. bourbon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Slice carrots crosswise at an angle.
  2. Place in a saucepan with butter, maple syrup, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Simmer over low heat, covered, until tender-crisp.
  4. Add bourbon.
  5. Simmer uncovered for 1 minute more.
  6. Serve sprinkled with chopped dill.
