A hearty bow tie casserole layered with seasoned ground beef, pepperoni, melted cheeses, and rich spaghetti sauce, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. bow tie noodles
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 lb. pepperoni slices
  • 2 qt. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. Provolone cheese
  • 16 slices Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bow tie noodles and drain.
  2. Divide the cooked noodles evenly into two 9 x 13-inch pans.
  3. Brown the ground chuck and drain excess fat.
  4. Cut the pepperoni into half-moon shapes and add to the spaghetti sauce. Simmer the sauce.
  5. Grate the Provolone cheese and add it to the sauce.
  6. Stir the browned ground chuck into the sauce.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles in each pan.
  8. Top each casserole with slices of Mozzarella cheese (8 slices per pan).
  9. Bake at 350°F until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
