Braised Roast Beef
Tender braised roast beef infused with mustard, rosemary, and red wine, complemented by carrots and onions, perfect for a hearty family dinner or special occasion.

Instructions
- Spread Dijon mustard over the meat.
- Sprinkle dried crumbled rosemary and freshly ground pepper over the meat.
- Place the meat on a rack, fat side up, in a heavy pan with a tight lid.
- Put the pan in a 450°F oven, uncovered, to brown the meat.
- Remove the pan from the oven and turn the meat using tongs (do not use a fork).
- Pour the heated red wine over the meat.
- Add chopped carrots and onion rings around the meat.
- Cover the pan with a lid.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and cook for 3 hours or until the meat is tender.
- During the last hour, add more red wine if needed for tenderness.
- When done, optionally add cooked gravy mix before serving.
