Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. braunschweiger
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 3/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Bring the cream cheese and braunschweiger to room temperature.
  2. Combine half of the cream cheese with the remaining ingredients except nuts. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball or mold and chill for several hours.
  4. Unmold the chilled mixture.
  5. Frost the outside with the remaining cream cheese.
  6. Garnish with chopped nuts.
  7. Serve with crackers or party loaf bread.
