Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups cooked pumpkin
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and vegetable oil until blended.
  2. Add eggs and whisk until incorporated.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and water until just combined.
  4. Fold in cooked pumpkin until evenly distributed.
  5. Divide batter between two loaf pans and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
