Breakfast Wellington

- Cook sausage in a medium skillet; drain well.
- Add broccoli, cheese, onion, sour cream, and pepper to the skillet.
- Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Separate the crescent dough into 4 long rectangles on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Overlap the long sides of the rectangles.
- Spoon the meat mixture down the center of each rectangle.
- Fold the strips over the filling to enclose it.
- Mix the beaten egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush over the dough.
- Sprinkle sesame seed on top.
- Bake at 375°F for 18 to 22 minutes, until deep golden brown.
