Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 6 cans water
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef; drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, water, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir.
  3. Add egg noodles; bring to a boil in a deep skillet or large saucepan.
  4. Turn down heat to a fast simmer; cook until sauce thickens and most of the water is absorbed into the noodles.
  5. Stir in shredded Mozzarella cheese before serving.
