Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Toast the almonds for a few minutes until they are golden.
- Let cool, chop.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325°.
- Cream butter, add sugar and beat until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs, add mandarin peel, Contreau and cinnamon. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
- Beat flour mixture in with butter mixture.
- Stir in chopped almonds.
