Creamy broccoli and chicken Alfredo combines tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and rich sauce for a comforting, versatile dish perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup half and half cream
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Using a large nonstick skillet, sauté chicken, broccoli, onions, and garlic over medium heat until onions are clear and chicken is browned.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Microwave cream cheese to soften, then add half and half cream, basil, and oregano; mix until smooth.
  4. Add the sauce to the chicken and broccoli mixture and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth.
  5. Do not boil. Serve over pasta of your choice.
