Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 4 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 cups soft rye bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Place cooked broccoli and 1/2 cup of milk into a blender container.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Combine the blended mixture with the remaining 1 1/2 cups of milk, sliced mushrooms, melted butter, and salt in a saucepan.
  4. Heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  5. Serve hot, topped with rye bread crumbs if desired.
