Broccoli-Squash Casserole

A comforting broccoli and squash casserole layered with creamy soup, topped with crunchy crumbs and cheese, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (large) frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • 6 to 8 cups cooked squash with onions
  • finely crushed cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
  • grated sharp cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain the frozen chopped broccoli.
  2. Spread the cooked broccoli in the bottom of a buttered 10 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  3. Layer both cans of cream of celery soup over the broccoli.
  4. Add a layer of cooked squash with onions on top of the soup.
  5. Sprinkle with finely crushed cracker crumbs or bread crumbs.
  6. Top with grated sharp cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  8. Add the cheese in the last 5 minutes of baking if desired.
