Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 beaten egg yolks
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Combine egg yolks, milk, and oil in a bowl.
  2. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  3. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  4. Cook in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown.
  5. Allow waffles to cool.
  6. Place wax paper between waffles to prevent sticking.
  7. Wrap in heavy foil for storage.
  8. Reheat in a 325°F (160°C) oven for 15 minutes before serving.
