Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken wings
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. dry sherry or cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut off wing tips.
  2. Cut each wing in half at the joint.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sherry, oil, paprika, hot pepper sauce, and garlic powder (if using).
  4. Stir to combine the marinade.
  5. Cover loosely and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  6. Preheat broiler and position the oven rack 4 inches from heat.
  7. Broil wings for 14 minutes or until tender, turning once.
  8. Brush wings with the marinade during cooking or before serving.
  9. Serve hot or cold.
