Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp in shells
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. unsalted margarine, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Wash and dry the shrimp.
  3. Pour melted margarine into a shallow baking pan and add lemon juice, chopped onion, minced garlic, and pepper.
  4. Add the shrimp to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Broil the shrimp for 5 minutes, then turn them over and broil for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the shrimp on a platter with strained pan juices, sprinkled with chopped parsley.
