Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa

Instructions

  1. Mix the first nine ingredients together.
  2. Spread the mixture in an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the brownie mixture.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
  5. Serve hot or cold.
