Ingredients

  • 3 (3 to 4 lb.) hens
  • 12 lb. fresh pork
  • 4 1/2 lb. beef roast
  • 12 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
  • 8 (No. 2) cans corn
  • 3 lb. onion
  • 1 1/2 pt. catsup
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the hens, pork, and beef roast and set aside the broth.
  2. Grind the cooked meats, onions, and tomatoes.
  3. Combine all ingredients including the broth in a large pot.
  4. Add the catsup, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, vinegar, salt, and hot sauce to taste.
  5. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning, until flavors meld and mixture thickens.
