Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans kidney beans (undrained)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder

Instructions

  1. Melt the canola oil in a large skillet and brown the onion, green pepper, and ground beef.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: tomato sauce, kidney beans, salt, paprika, and chili powder.
  3. Stir well and cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
