Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can yellow wax beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans

Instructions

  1. Drain all the beans.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet, crumble and set aside.
  4. Drain all but about 2 tablespoons of drippings from the skillet.
  5. Add sugar, vinegar, salt, and mustard to the skillet; simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  6. Combine all drained beans and crumbled bacon in a baking dish.
  7. Pour the hot sugar-vinegar mixture over the beans and bacon.
  8. Sprinkle French fried onions on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
