Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 c. Contadina seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. dry Carnation nonfat dry milk
  • water to make 1 c. liquid
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Contadina pizza sauce
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, liquid nonfat dry milk, chopped onion, beaten egg, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix lightly but thoroughly.
  3. Press the mixture onto a 12-inch pizza pan, forming a 1/2-inch rim around the edge.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the meat mixture.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses on top, along with your choice of pizza toppers such as green peppers, mushrooms, olives, and onions.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Drain off excess fat, then cut into wedges to serve.
