Butterscotch Pineapple Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. orange peel
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, butter and orange peel.
  2. Cream well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.
  4. Add pineapple, butterscotch chips and pecans; mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour into well-greased pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut into bars.
