Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 1 lb. light brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese together.
  2. Mix in sifted flour a little at a time, creaming after each addition.
  3. Chill the dough for about 3 hours.
  4. Break off pieces the size of walnuts and, with fingers, pat dough to cover the bottom and sides of each lightly greased muffin cup.
