Ingredients

  • 2 cups cabbage
  • 1/2 cup crackers, crumbled
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons grated carrots or cauliflower

Instructions

  1. Put coarsely cut cabbage in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Stir in grated cheese and milk until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Sprinkle with crumbled crackers and dot with butter.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
