Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ground beef
  • 2 slices onion
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 slice green pepper
  • 1/2 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 medium carrot, grated
  • 1 medium potato, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Shape the ground beef into a large patty.
  2. Place a sheet of large foil on a flat surface.
  3. Place the onion slices on the foil.
  4. Add the beef patty on top of the onions.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add green pepper slices, chopped celery, and chopped cabbage on top of the patty.
  7. Top with grated carrot and sliced potato.
  8. Add the cream of mushroom soup and water over the ingredients.
  9. Wrap the foil tightly to enclose all ingredients.
  10. Grill over the campfire for about 1 hour or until done.
  11. Alternatively, bake in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
