  • 4 c. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice pickles in half lengthwise; remove seeds and cut pickles into strips.
  2. Put cut pickles into a large container and pour boiling water over them.
  3. Let sit all day or overnight.
  4. Place pickles in jars.
  5. Bring mixture of sugar, vinegar, turmeric, mustard seed, celery seed, and salt to a boil and pour over jarred pickles and seal.
