Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut in strips
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Chun King soy sauce
  • 1 can (13 3/4 oz.) chicken broth
  • 1 can (16 oz.) Chun King chow mein vegetables, drained

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the lean pork strips.
  2. Push the meat to one side of the skillet, add minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until soft. Season with salt.
  3. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, and chicken broth until well combined.
  4. Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir, cooking until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the drained chow mein vegetables to the skillet and heat through.
  6. Serve hot with chow mein noodles or fried rice.
