Decadent caramel delight bars feature a buttery oatmeal crust topped with chocolate chips, caramel, and a crispy topping, making them a perfect sweet treat for gatherings or family desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups melted butter
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips
  • 1 jar caramel topping

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, melted butter, oatmeal, brown sugar, and baking soda together.
  2. Press three-quarters of the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the baked crust.
  5. Combine 6 tablespoons of flour with the caramel topping and pour over the chocolate chips.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining one-quarter of the oatmeal mixture on top of the caramel layer.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  8. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
