Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Stir sugar and butter over fire until fudge-like and slightly golden.
  2. When cool, add beaten eggs, salt, baking powder, and flavoring, then nuts.
  3. Place in pan and bake for 15 or 20 minutes.
  4. Cool in pans and cut into squares.
