Ingredients

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 2/3 cups Carnation milk
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices in a mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually add evaporated milk and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
  4. Bake in a hot oven at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool before serving.
