Charm Cake is a rich, coconut and pecan flavored dessert with a tender crumb, perfect for special occasions or everyday indulgence for coconut lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 (3 1/2 oz.) cans shredded coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream well together the butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, whipping after each addition.
  3. Add vanilla wafer crumbs and milk to the mixture.
  4. Fold in shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
  5. Grease and flour a tube pan or Bundt pan.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
  7. Cool completely before removing from the pan.
  8. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
