Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa
  • 1 12 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 12 cups oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
  • 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs and add sugar.
  2. Beat well.
  3. Add flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, 1 tablespoon cocoa, pumpkin, oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased 13x9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  6. Cool.
  7. Mix powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons cocoa, butter, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  8. Add pecans.
  9. Frost cooled cake.
